The Atlanta Biltmore Luxurious Ballrooms
The Atlanta Biltmore Hotel was opened on April 19, 1924. The hotel was designed by the New York firm of Schultze and Weaver. Schultze and Weaver also designed the luxurious Waldorf Astoria hotel in Manhattan, New York City.
Due to extensive renovations over the years, there were only two remaining historic rooms at the Atlanta Biltmore Hotel. They were the Georgian and Imperial Ballrooms, and now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. With the renovation, these ballrooms received original handcrafted plaster relief ceiling, restored crystal chandeliers, Palladian windows and Tennessee marble floors. The Biltmore ballrooms offer a spectacular backdrop for weddings, and special events.
